Evolve Your Practice
“Here and now is where yoga begins” – The Yoga Sutras
We offer 100-hour yoga foundation programs for complete beginners or Yoga enthusiasts wanting to dive deep into the practise of Yoga. This 10 days Yoga program takes place in our newly built ADHYAANANTA FARM amidst the tranquil Himalayan region of a dreamy quaint town Kalimpong, 2 hours drive away from Darjeeling. Whether you want to immerse in the yogic lifestyle or desire to deepen your own understanding and practice – our 100-hour yoga programs provide a platform to make these dreams a reality.

This foundational program takes place in our newly built excellent location surrounded by nature and an environment that promotes concentration, inspiration, and excellence.
Our curriculum is weaved by the ancient traditional Yogic approach of Asanas, Pranayama, Bandhas and Meditation along with a contemporary approach of right healthy diet and lifestyle in a modern ambience.
Kalimpong - the "Land of flowers"
Often referred to as the “Land of flowers”, Kalimpong is a pristine hill station located in the lap of the majestic Himalayas. It overlooks the sparkling waters of the river, Teesta and is situated in eastern Himalayan region of India. With the towering Kanchenjunga on one side and an emerald-green expanse of tea gardens on the other, Kalimpong is an idyllic location for anybody who is looking to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. Strikingly opposite to its next-door sister – Darjeeling, Kalimpong happens to be less crowded and quieter.
The first thing that will catch your eye when you are in Kalimpong are the many flowers that pockmark the vast green mountains of this surreal town. Petunias, roses, daisies, freesias, pansies and several other nameless varieties grow wild and free, full bloom to their best versions and in the brightest of colours. Kalimpong also happens to be home to orchids. You are most likely to experience this exotic flora in the rarest of colour combinations growing in abundance in places you’d least expect.
Faraway from the city life, yet conveniently accessible, Kalimpong is one of those destinations where you need not have an itinerary or a fixed plan — you can go for short hikes or simply stare at flowers — experience the joys of doing nothing. The pace of life prevalent in this lesser known hill station is motivating, it urges you to calm down, meditate and reflect on the many gifts that nature offers.
What Can You Expect?
During the 10 days you will be practising in a high standard quality ambience into the various aspects of Yoga as a lifestyle. You will be guided to a complete foundation through different styles of Yoga, their origin and techniques along with a thorough immersion into the ancient Yogic tradition of Yoga philosophy, mantras, breathwork, cleansing Kriyas and various meditation techniques.

This program is designed as a gateway to enter and understand a Yoga practise as a whole. Each day accelerates from simple physical postures, restorative practices to a more in-depth breakdown of a class through guided practise and workshop.
During this foundational training, we introduce students to the various styles of Hatha yoga and its contemporary practices such as multi-styled themed Vinyasa flow and restorative Yin Yoga. We focus on accurate alignment of these styles, cues on commands, physical and spiritual awareness of dynamic yoga postures.
Classical yoga philosophy of Patanjali Yoga Sutras is intertwined throughout the course as a part of the Yogic philosophy. Introduction to many aspects of ancient and contemporary meditation, Pranayama breathing techniques, Ayurveda and its relationship with yoga, scientific benefits of Sanskrit mantra chanting, yoga mudras, Kriya inner cleansing techniques and various other elements that make yoga a complete practice. You will leave the course truly open with a new understanding of yoga, your ability to relate to this world, and most importantly, to yourself.
Our syllabus is carefully tailored to provide our students with the tools needed to expand and deepen self-practice. Technical workshops emphasize the more demanding and advanced postures along with a breakdown of various styles and a thorough introduction and immersion into its alignment and adjustments. These workshops are held and practiced to assess the progress being done in our everyday Asana practice session. The yogic Asanas are enjoyable and interactive with an opportunity to explore the limitations and intelligence of our physical body.

Accommodation & Food
Spread across a sprawling 13 acres of green expanse and surrounded by the Himalayan range, our Adhyaananta farm is where you will experience the coming together of nature and human nature in perfect harmony. Designed to keep the holistic experience of the location intact, much of the space has been left untouched so as to let nature continue its own flow. The farm houses a bamboo grove and a guava orchard, both offer two unique options of ambience where you could find your own spot to muse.
The living area comprises independent, eco – cottages that complement austere but wholesome living. The architecture is luxurious complying with the basics of ancient yogic home design. Almost as if they were an extension of the serene landscape, the cottages stand in perfect sync with the lush green backdrop. All rooms have been designed to face the East so that you could begin everyday with a brilliant Himalayan sunrise. Ample sunlight add vibrancy to the spacious, colourful rooms. Consciously minimalist in decor, the rooms have been given a rustic touch via paintings and artefacts handmade by locals.
The first rays of the sun are not your only chance at soaking up Vitamin D at the Adhyaananta farm, breakfast is laid out under the sun, outdoors while dinner is set next to the bonfire every night. Prepare to enjoy your nights under a canopy of a million stars and swarming fireflies. Imagine going to sleep rejuvenated more with each passing night! To provide you with an elevated holistic experience, the food served is all Satvik and cooked with organic produce that is locally grown.
Our residential chef freshly prepares daily 3 meals catered with lots of love and attention. The menu is designed to be pure vegetarian, Ayurvedic and Satvik with a focus on using locally produced, organic where possible produce and ingredients. This is a new way to look at our food and develop an appreciation for the natural flavors nature has provided us in its complete simplicity and totality. Request for any gluten-free or with allergic problems related to a specific diet can be taken care of by the chef on arrival. In Yogic philosophy, food is one of the primary sources through which we get the cosmic Prana or energy into our system.
Our physical body is made of five elements; it’s the imbalance of these elements that causes disease in our body. Hence we carefully select what our trainees eat during the course, making every meal a delightful experience.
